My dear dad
I did not choose you
But thanks to GOD
You were the best
I don’t know how you were chosen.
By random, or destiny’s influence?
By predesigned system?
For pleasure or for test?
What ever it was
You were the best
If I was given the choice.
Whom would have I chosen?
May be a king or a millionaire.
To do nothing but pleasure and rest
But were they, better than you ?
I knew you were poor
Blown by the storm of life
From east to west,
But the amount of care
On your face with lines
Of struggle and unrest
All were telling me
You were the best
Whenever I remember you hugging me
And my small head on your chest
I feel the overflow of love
Like the waves of the sea.
And enjoy the pleasure of owning:
The world, the sun, the stars and the rest
O my dear dad really
You were the best.
Never I forget the day
I offered you my first pay.
You returned it with a look,
Full of pride, appreciation and interest.

My dear son ,I suggest

About your cat didn’t I tell you?
The dificult time she went through?
She used to open you the door .
She waited but you came no more.
Then hopeless and miserable
She laid down on the floor .
And died after one day or two.
What was the reason what was the clue?
With your devotion ,
How could you enchant?
With power of love
How could you arrest?
Weren’t you the best?
Even if you were very bad
Even if sometimes you might get mad.
Still you were the best
Cause you were my dad.
